The MZ1 is a 3 Roller Tension Sensor built in a narrow (25mm / 1") housing designed for parallel installation to simultaneously monitor multiple fibers or wires. It is fitted with 12 mm diameter V-Grooved Rollers fabricated from Hardcoat Anodized Aluminum. Alternate roller materials are offered.
Built-in signal conditioning with ZERO and SPAN adjustment pots provide a high-level, analog output to minimize the chance for signal interference.
It can be used to continuously monitor and record online tensions for process diagnostics. The MZ1 Tension Sensor can also be part of a closed-loop control system with a 3rd-Party controller.
Mounting possibilities: The MZ1 Sensor can be mounted on a flat plate using the threaded holes on the underside of the housing, through holes using the flange at each end of the housing or using the holes in the front plate.
