The TSF1 is a 3-roller fixed-mount tension sensor designed to measure the running tension of fragile fibers up to 1.5 mm diameter. Large 70mm diameter rollers minimize the bending angle making the TSF1 ideal for testing sensitive materials such as optic fiber, carbon fiber, etc... Built-in signal conditioning with ZERO and SPAN pots provide a high-level, analog output to minimize the chance for signal interference.
The TSF1 can be used for process diagnostics, continuous monitoring, and recording running online tensions. It can also be used as part of a closed-loop control system with a 3rd-party controller.

Calibration to customized material: If process material differs significantly from the factory calibration material in diameter, rigidity or shape, special calibration using customer-supplied samples is recommended. For this purpose, a material sample of about 5 m should be supplied.
